Yellowstone Dreamin Adventures Day Hikes
1. Blacktail Deer Trailhead to Crevice Lake (All-day)

- ~9mi RT or improvised loop
- Gradually descend (1100ft) into the Black Canyon where the Blacktail Deer Creek meets the Yellowstone River as we cross over it on a suspension bridge. Passing through an area full of wildlife, waterways, unique rock formations and plenty more to discover!
2. Blacktail Deer Trailhead to Mt. Everts (Summit) (All-day)
- Moderate - Strenuous
- ~10mi RT or improvised loop
- Ascend (1200ft) to the summit of Mt. Everts which overlooks Mammoth Hot Springs, Gardiner River, waterfalls and the vast northern range of Yellowstone. Pass by some small lakes on the way up that are sure to have some waterfowl, in addition to the abundance of other wildlife that inhabit the area.
3. Garnet Hill Loop Trail (All-day)
• ~8 mi
• Moderate
• The Garnet Hill Loop Trail follows a dirt stagecoach road through sagebrush meadows to Yancy's creek. The trail continues north along Elk Creek through meadows and forest until nearly reaching the Yellowstone River. Here the trail divides: the west fork joins the Hellroaring Trail, (if desired, take the trail for an extra 1/2 mile to the suspension bridge over the Yellowstone River). The east fork traverses around Garnet Hill and back to Tower.
4. Lamar River Trail (All-day)
• ~ 6-7 mi RT
• Easy-Moderate
• Follow the Lamar River as it continues through Lamar Valley, as the point the road diverges. Cross a wooden footbridge over the Soda Butte Creek into the Lamar River basin to the confluence of Cache Creek and Lamar River, passing through expansive grazing and fishing habitat for a variety of wildlife.
5. Acclimation Enclosure off of Rose Creek (Partial-day)
• ~ 3 mi RT
• A short hike following the Rose Creek drainage to the acclimation pens where the wolves were first introduced into the park, located in the heart of lamar valley.
